This restaurant has been around forever in the Watertown mall. We love it! Maybe it’s not the most authentic Mexican food but it hits all the right notes. The seafood enchiladas are great, topped with a creamy white sauce. Also love all the cubbies and nooks in this restaurant. Feels very cozy! More food Inspo at IG @cheaprecipeblog

I had a wonderful waitress her name is taylor. she is a very polite and and was very caring. Taylor was very quick and always made sure to ask if I needed anything more.

The atmosphere is awesome. It's a local small business in the mall! I have been to the mall for years and never ate there. Now it's my go to spot! Homemade salsa! Fresh taco salad bowls. Delish!

Tables and seats are cozy (old European pub feel). What we ordered tasted real good and well seasoned and I love the chips which are seasoned as well! The lady who waited on us (Maddie) is so polite, nice and sweet. She kept checking on us to make sure if there's anything else we needed and it made us feel we are well taken care of. Tables and seats are kept clean.

***Editing my initial review from yesterday as management promptly replied this morning stating that we had a new server. The issues my table had were a result of this and management was quick to respond on here to try to make things right. I appreciate this as I too manage in the service industry and understand the process of training a new employee. Glad to be able to bring the issue to your attention and will remove my original comments as they will be addressed internally and should not be a reason to discourage others from trying a local favorite. To management: no need to offer anything further to make it right as I no longer live locally, but thank you again for your quick response and explanation. We will definitely be back in the future to show off Senor Max's at its finest!

From the time we stepped through the front door to the time we sat down, we were treated like family. Like warm family. Like family that welcomes you into their warm Mexican restaurant. It was special. All of it. The decor. The seats. The cups. Everything was good. My friend enjoyed his ground taco beef wrapped in a tortilla with cheese. I had the ground beef in a fried tortilla with extra beans. I made the important decision for fried ice cream. Make sure you end your night with it.). Senor Max is something special. Open since a long time ago.
